Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Gujarat General Instructions on Online Recruitment: A woman applying for selection in the honorary service of Anganwadi Worker / Tedagar should have Indian citizenship.  

The woman candidate applying for selection in the honorary service of Anganwadi worker / Tedagar should be a local resident for at least one year from the date of the resident certificate of the prescribed specimen to be given by the concerned Mamlatdar.  In the case of a rural area, the Anganwadi in which the revenue village is established should be a local resident of the revenue village or in the case of an urban area candidate, a local resident of the election ward of the concerned municipality / municipality for at least one year.

For this criterion, the sample prescribed by the Department of Women and Child Development, the certificate issued by the Jan Seva Kendra and the certificate of the office of the concerned Mamlatdar for this work will be taken into consideration.  

The age of the applicant applying for selection in the honorary service of Anganwadi Worker / Tedagar should be 18 years on the last date of application and not more than 5 years.  Minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi worker should be Std. 12, Pass or Std. 10, Pass and any minimum 3 years diploma course recognized by AICTE.  

Minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Tedagar should be passed Std.12 If the applicant falls in the reserved category, then the certificate of the competent officer will have to be submitted. If the applicant is a widow, the certificate of the competent officer of the matter has to be submitted.   The applicant shall upload and submit all the educational qualification certificates mentioned in the online application.  

The last date to apply will be considered as the date of cut-off date.  So, by the last date of application, the applicant should have fulfilled the criteria for age, educational qualification and other qualifications.  Mamlatdar / Deputy Collector / Additional Collector / Collector on stamp paper of Rs.100 / - in case the information and certificates submitted by the applicant are correct.

The applicant has to submit the affidavit of the accompanying sample certified by a notary signature-coin. If the applicant has a criminal history, and a police complaint has been lodged against the applicant, a person who has been sentenced by a reputed court cannot apply.   A person who has been declared bankrupt by a competent authority cannot apply to the applicant.  As part of the penal proceedings, the applicant cannot be applied for any person who has been discharged from any previous government / semi-government / honorary service and has been removed. 

If the total marks of the subject are 200, then only the marks of the subjects passed out of 200 out of different marksheets should be considered.  E.g.  If there are 75 marks obtained out of total 200 marks in which one subject fails with 8 marks then the marks obtained will be considered as 300 marks.  Then if there are 50 marks in that subject then the marks obtained out of the total marks will be 80.  The above instructions will be mandatory to be followed by the applicant while filling up the online form.  Failure to meet any of these qualifications / conditions will result in cancellation of the applicant's candidature.
