General Elections of Local Bodies of the State & Municipal
Press Release - General Elections of Local Bodies of the State and Municipal Corporations, 58 Municipalities, 31 District Panchayats, 31 Taluka Panchayats were to be held in the month of November 2020 as its term was coming to an end.
Reviewing the extent of local body elections and the epidemic situation of Kovid-12, the State Election Commission has issued a notification to postpone the elections for the next three months and decided to hold elections after reviewing the epidemic situation after three months.
