Big news about corona vaccine: How many more months will it take for India's indigenous corona vaccine to hit the market?
New Delhi: In the midst of corona fever, the people of the country will still have to wait for the corona vaccine.
The indigenous corona vaccine Covex, manufactured in the country by Bharat Biotech, is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2021, i.e. after June. Thus, India will have to wait another seven months for the indigenous vaccine. The company will invest around Rs 400 crore to make the vaccine.

Necessary approval from the drugs regulator will be sought after the trial address of the vaccine, company officials said. The company is currently planning to complete the third phase of human trials of the vaccine at different locations across the country.

Based on this, a decision will be taken to start commercial production of the vaccine. The company is developing the vaccine in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology (NIV).
